'War on Want' Charity
Superblue working with the charity War on Want and graphic design team Bond and Coyne Associates have designed and built an exhibtion showing the photography of Paul Weinberg. The exhibtion explores the informal economy of Zambian markets.
Zambia was once one of the wealthiest African countries but now a large part of its population struggles to survive through small scale trading in markets and on the streets.Renowned South African-born photographer Paul Weinberg travelled to Zambia documenting the life of market and street vendors in a country where 70% of the population survive on less than $1 a day. More infrmation on the work of War on Want can be found at www.waronwant.org
Working with regular collaborators Bond and Coyne Associates who art directed the exhibition, Superblue developed a modular exhibtion system of cardboard box plinths and lean too picture rails which was quick to set-up and transport as well as effectively complimenting the work of the photographer and War on Want.
