The Wave Roundabout

- Proposal for a reactive water sculpture at Brighton marina. Motion sensors trigger waterjets when a car passes by, and the wave is created that visualizes the flow of traffic.The water sculpture is placed on a derelict roundabout between Asda supermarket and Brighton Marina. A beneficiary of the £50,000 Edward Marshall Trust Annual prize for public art 2003. The project was done in partnership with fellow designer Petra Trefzgar and engineer Neil Thomas from Atelier One.
